A LIFETIME
OF TOYS MOVES ON FOREVER!
Just what happened
to Barry Woodley's unbelievable collection of THREE THOUSAND
TV and Movie toys? Goodmans' Auctioneers sold it to the world,
that's what! Vintage character plastic kits, Dinky TV diecasts,
original Star Wars action figures - you name it, it was there,
and almost all 'mint in box'. As a matter of fact, his darn
collection read like a 'Who's Who' of TV & Movie toys, from
the 1950's to the 1990's.
The auction took
place over two days on the 8th and 9th of September, 2002...
and, as vendor and toy fanatic extraordinaire Barry Woodley
predicted, the prices realised were just like the market for
old film and TV memorabilia... 'Up, up and away'! Well, 'faster
than a speeding bullet', pictured are some of the fabulous
results achieved by Sydney-based Goodmans', with the enthusiastic
global audience's help, of course!
