Kansas City, Kansas (February 10, 2009) – Manion’s International Auction House is synonymous with militaria, but, the online auction company also deals in collectibles.
“Militaria is the mainstay of our operation,” said Manion’s representative Steve Allen. “But we’re also known for quality collectibles.”
The online auction company recently received multiple toy collection consignments and decided to combine them and promote a special auction.
“We wanted to remind our bidders that Manion’s is more than militaria,” said Allen. “This seemed like an excellent opportunity; we deal in many different areas of collecting.”
Within minutes of taking the auction live, items began receiving bids.
“Some of the toys in the auction are military related, like Elastolin and Lineol toy soldiers,” said Allen, “but there are also tin litho vehicles, toy trains, Marx playsets, Star Wars items – and many other types of collectible toys available.”
While the auction is currently live, items are added daily and consignment is still being accepted.
“With the auction closing nearly a month and a half from now, ample time remains to send in consignment,” Allen said. “If you have a collection you’ve been thinking about selling . . . now is the time.”
